Men's Ministry at First Baptist Church of St. Charles

Ted Stolk, Men's Ministry Leader

Men, We will start our 7 week study of “TAKING DOWN GOLIATH, Overcoming the Giants That Every Man Faces”

on Friday, February 3 at 7:00 PM. Since our church agenda is packed, I like to make this a weekly study.

For those who did not see the preview, this study will equip us with biblical principals how to overcome struggles that all men face everyday.

It is a DVD study by Johnny Hunt. If you do not know who Dr. Hunt is, check his credentials attached.

If you could let me know if you will be attending, that would be greatly appreciated, so I can have enough study materials ready for us.

Looking forward seeing all of you soon and doing this exiting study together.

In Christ,

Ted

The FBCSC men's ministry is dedicated to helping men be the godly men God calls us to be. A godly man is a servant, not a slave master. Being a spiritual leader does not mean dominating your family. It means serving your family, and being a godly example to your wife and children.

Men's Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God's man in Christ.
We know one thing for sure -- God will use the heart and life of anyone who chooses to make himself available to Him. The Bible says, "Go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
." This is the great commission spoken by Jesus Himself. In other words, Jesus Christ is commissioning His followers to go into the entire world and reproduce believers. This is a big calling.

The mission of FBCSC men's ministry is to provide men with resources to develop godly character, and to equip them to influence their world for Christ. Becoming a Christian is not a destination; it is the beginning of a life-long journey.

"The man of integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out."
-- Proverbs 10:9
