Unsure what class
you would like to attend, below is a summary of the available Sunday
School Classes.
Preschool / Kindergarden
The preschool Sunday School class includes children ages 3 to 5. In
this class, the children learn about the Bible and prayer. Through
Bible stories, Bible memory verses and craft activities we learn how
God cares for us. Through prayer time the children learn that Jesus
is a friend we can talk to at any time.
Upper
Elementary Class
In our Upper
Elementary Class 4th and 5th graders are focusing on Bible knowledge
and application through Lifeway's Bibles Skills, Drills and Thrills
curriculum, along with season-specific lessons throughout the year.
Age appropriate lessons and activities support the learning needs of
9 - 11 year olds, while making the class enjoyable.
Toddler Class
The Toddler Sunday School class
is for children 18 months to 3 year olds. One of our basic
goals is to introduce the children to sharing and playing together.
Through our quarterly lessons, the children begin to learn that God
made everything, God loves us, God wants to help and love one
another, and Jesus loves us and is our friend.
Each Sunday, the children receive
a paper copy of the week's lessons as well as an activity that
parents can do with their toddler. This helps them understand
the truth emphasized and tighten the bonding with the parents.
Seekers Sunday School Class
Our class is called the “Seekers”
because we believe, as the song says, and as King David wrote:
“Lord, we want to know You, live our lives to show You, all the love
we owe You; We’re seekers of Your heart.”
We are a group of lively adults
who study God’s Word and strive to apply what we learn to our daily
lives. We enjoy the opportunity to get together to learn more about
God and each other. This inclusive class has no boundaries on age,
marital or family status. Although diverse in background, we
respect and appreciate each other’s unique characteristics. We
share ideas, personal joys and sorrows, engage in spirited
discussions and can always find humor in our own lives.
We usually follow the LifeWay
Explore the Bible Series lessons, however, we have done a series on
the beliefs of different denominations and cults and ways to witness
to them. Several members of our class recently went to see the film
“Courageous” and we followed up with the study “Courageous Living.”
We invite you to join us for
Bible study and fun on Sunday mornings.
Student Ministry Connect Groups
Middle
School & High School Students join us @ 9:00am every Sunday morning
in the Fellowship Hall. We start off as a large group then break
into connect groups where you can hang out with friends and learn
more about God's word.
Our Goals:
• To promote
a radical commitment to Christ and the gospel
• To endorse
a bold obligation to evangelism and missions
• To produce
responsible servants of the church
• To equip
and assist parents in the task of training their children to
treasure Christ above all else
College and Career (Expanded)
Participants in the
College and Career class range from college freshman (or 18 years
old and not attending school) to participants in their 50s. God has
blessed this group in the way the class interacts across age
differences and not create wedges between the age groups. The
participants study God’s Word and learn how to apply it to the many
life changes college aged young adults are faced with today. Our
college participants interact with those who have already lived
through the many experiences the young adults are dealing with today
and learn how God’s Word will address all our needs.
Near mid-February
2012, the College and Career (Expanded) will begin a year long study
learning how to Read the Bible for Life. This is a chronological
study of God’s Story. We will also be learning how to read the
Bible in the historical and cultural context it was written and how
this living Word speaks to us today. In this study we will see how
the different translations of the Bible can benefit our study and
understanding of His Word. To see more information on this exciting
study please visit

Ruth Love Class
The Ruth Love class
is for ladies of any age. The focus of our class is to grow in the
knowledge of Scripture, and to follow more closely Christ's Great
Commission. So saying, we are always open to ideas about how best to
serve Jesus.
Currently, we
sponsor 2 World Vision children, one in Lebanon, one in Ethiopia. We
maintain a "Sunshine" fund that is used as specific needs of the
church and community are identified.
In the past, we
have sent care packages to service men and women overseas, teamed
with In Touch ministry to supply hand held sermons available to
those in the field not able to attend regular worship services.
Prayerfully, these items find their way to those yet to know Jesus.
Mixed Adults Class
The Mixed Adult class is a
multi-generational, mixed group that loves the study of God's Word.
This class desires to further develop their spiritual growth with
the work of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures. Participants are
encouraged to interact with the studies as they apply them to their
lives. This group consists of new Christians all the way to mature
believers.
Come and worship with us!
